On January 26 I spent $3200 for an engine repair at Tom and Jerry’s auto service under the impression that I had a 2 year / 24,000 mile warranty. Less than 24 days later I suffered a catastrophic engine failure as a result of mistakes made on / misdiagnosis of my vehicle. When I brought my car back the business did not honor their warranty and I took my car off their lot due to my mistrust in their mechanics. After further investigation I found inconsistencies in the quote and the receipt. I was under the impression that the paperwork I was signing was identical to the quote and I was told by the mechanic that oversaw work done on my vehicle that the warranty was good at any mechanic shop, which was a lie; Aside from the company misdiagnosing my vehicle the company also snuck crucial information regarding the warranty on to the receipt in order to make a sale. Had I had this information I would not have approved the work done in my vehicle. This business is now blowing me off.
