Child Care Group — Highly disgusted and disappointed

Childcare group closed my case in the middle of a pandemic!!! I applied for childcare assistance over 6 months ago and have always updated my status on time. Childcare group is supposed to notify applicants with a call, text or email when a packet is sent out. The last time I called to update my status, I was told to call back in May and that if a packet were sent out before then, I would receive notification. During the middle of a pandemic and while Dallas county has issued a stay at home order which I have complied with, Childcare group sent me a packet without notifying me. During this time not only was I complying with the stay at home order, but I was ill. Upon checking my mailbox, I found that I had received a packet but the date to submit the information needed had passed ** 4 days. I contacted childcare group begging for an extension to which several employees and a manger including Julia and Joyce said even though it was their fault for failing to notify me, that my case was closed and I had to reapply again. I waited SIX MONTHS. I have two toddlers and I am considered an essential worker and I am very concerned as to how Childcare group conducts business especially during a time when people need their services more than ever. Highly disgusted and disappointed and I will complain and escalate this until this is properly resolved.
