I get invited to numerous scammer channels and sometimes I see people offering services that are obvious scams. When I call out these scammers, they report me for bullying them. When I report these issues to support via the app, the say sorry it doesn’t matter, you are limited to using the app now cause I offended an obvious scammer. Just look at the complaints here. Mostly, poor individuals who were scammed. I try to expose these criminals and what does telegram do? Ban me, instead of them. I can still see these channels operating and this is purely disgusting on telegrams side. I’m sure the response I will receive is, we just have volunteers checking and blah blah blah. This is tiring…I would like them to recognize that they are defending scammers automatically and do something. Stop banning or blocking users trying to push back against these scammers.
