I was called by two Electricians referred by Home advisors to install my Ring doorbell. I went with Kap Electric, only because they were available first. Made a appointment with Eric he showed up. I wasn’t concerned at the amount of time it took to mount to door frame and to existing doorbell, even when he explained why it wasn’t real tight (where he had to mount it) ok he’s the expert right. This was 11/19/2020 and the charge was 125.00. Well Jan. 20 2021 I had to put in a new modem/wifi and needed to reconnect doorbell which only involved taking security button from bottom and pushing button on side. After release of bottom button and removing cover mounting screws on inside fell to ground. After discussing with Eric on 1/22/2021 and 1/26/2021 he finally said he would be out 1/29/2021 which he did not show or call or answer text. I called services they came right out done a diagnostic said the mounting screws had been striped out and put in longer screws for $99.99. You can not depend on their work, or them to correct a problem and communicate with you.
