GoDaddy.com — It’s really putting my own business at risk

It started 2017 to build my website and logo paying over $1500 plus domain and hosting fees, and being their customers for over 2 years. August 2019, I traveled internationally and I had all my credit cards stolen which caused my automatic payment to be paused. I ONLY received one email notification and after 30 days ONLY from being default due to payment, my Business website/ company logo was completely deleted. Apparently, it was deleted without any back up. When I finally realized that my site was deleted than i contacted technical support to determine if they had a back up, which they initially confirmed they did have a back up and stated it can be provided and a payment of ONLY $240 was collected Then they refunded the $240 randomly without any explanation and I had to call back again and waste additional time to find out they were not being honest about having a backup which led to a refund. The thing that really upsets me and has me very unsatisfied is that this is not only costing me time but it has also impacted my business financially since I no longer have a the website I require for MY customers. I don’t think its right that they want to charge me the same fees of which I initially paid for due to their lack of customer service they failed to provide. If I pay for a service, I expect to get good service that I can rely on. Such as receiving notification, especially being that they have the engineers who can create this type of feasibility with current technology, I guess I’m not the only one unsatisfied based on the negative reviews made about this company. I can totally agree the customer service is definitely not focused on customer satisfaction. Additionally, I tried again speaking with a Supervisor to resolve this issue of getting my website available again, thinking they would be able to do something to help. However, they still disappointed. This time continuing not to resolve anything, since there is no back up and expecting a the same initial fees for a service I already paid for. All they wanted to offer was 3 months of free service that didn’t even equate to more than $50. That is not providing me any type of solution. I need my website and shouldn’t have to pay the same initial fee that I paid when I first became a customer. This was my business account and they and have inconvenienced my time and also money by a lot. I just need the service I paid for. I just need my website and this shouldn’t have been a service that I would have expected to be left without considering I Paid for it. It’s really putting my own business at risk. If I would have had these terms up front I would have made a better decision and not have paid GODADDY for their services.
