We were on WJ 196 out of Calgary on Sept.21. We were to arrive there at 3:35,however the plane was late leaving. A WJ agent had previously booked us on WJ 454 leaving Calgary for Saskatoon at 4:15. We questioned the agent at the time – was this enough time. We were assured it was. When we got to Calgary, after travelling the airport for 10mins to get to a WJ agent we were told to go to, we were told the plane left and we were booked on Flight3254 leaving at 10:55 pm. We had to sit at the airport from 4:30 to 10:15 before boarding. I had originally told the flight agent my husband needed help boarding, etc. He was so stressed at the airport for those 6 hours. We are seniors and were not given any reason for a late flight, etc. We were herded to a counter (compromised from the long walk, wait, etc.) We think WJ should have asked the passengers on the earlier flight if they would consider compensation from WJ if they took the late flight. It is now two days later and we are still feeling the effects of this travel.
