Swiss Chalet — Charged three times for the same meal

Dear Swiss Chalet,

I am a frequent patron of Swiss Chalet.

Yesterday was a very rocky experience trying to order with your app and every debit card I attempted was getting denied. We finally called the main call-center who helped us; only when we told them we wanted curbside service and they took my debit card over the phone only they charged us twice as evidenced by the attachment below. Yet, we still had to go in at the store and pay again since that was the status that was left on the receipt and in the email sent to us after we paid for it over the phone.

The manager at 3770 Montrose Rd. in Niagara Falls, Robin, apologized and explained that they were pre-authorized charges and will drop off but that I would still have to pay her again for the order… a 3rd time! Also, I had a bad feeling the charges were not pre-auths and therefore would not drop off. They still haven’t as you can see the two charges directly below on my CIBC debit card statement as of 8 a.m. this morning.

Our order and all the information you would require which we paid with the TD debit card is directly below that attachment herein.

I would thank you for your kind attention in reversing the two charges on the CIBC card as soon as possible. Thank you.
