Ive loved sunbeam bread for years , was ALWAYS soft , and melted in your mouth!!! Last couple months the quality of the bread has suffered greatly ,has the recipe changed???? Gotten to the point that i am trying new breads!!!! The bread used to stay soft a week in my cupboard, lately the bread is already getting hard by 2nd day? Its just not the same if its not soft! Only good for toast or stuffing after 2nd day!! Seems to be alot more air pockets in it as well!!! Why did you change your BREAD? Go back to the way it ws a few months ago.
Sunbeam bread has changed. The quality and texture has changed. Used to be soft now it appears to be old on the first day.
This has to be the worst bread I have ever bought. It use to be very good, was very smooth and fresh. I won’t buy anymore
Not only has the quality gone way down, but a loaf of Sunbeam is $4.00 in my area. Not worth it by a long shot. Just bought a soft loaf of Butternut about a dollar cheaper. I’m done with Sunbeam.
I am 68 years old and have eaten sunbeam bread all my life. I grew up on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Several months ago I noticed that the texture of the bread had changed so I began to look into it , thinking I may need to look for another brand of bread. The only thing I could figure out was that on the bag it use to say “Batter Whipped” and now it no longer says that.
I don’t know it that is what changed the texture of the bread but whatever it is me and my family wish that you would go back to the way you made it for so many years
