StockX — Damaged, used, overpriced

I ordered my boyfriend a pair of Nike high-tops for his birthday on June 7th. They showed up covered in glitter, damaged and used while listed as NEW and in mint condition. I spent 800 Canadian dollars to have the company reply with wipe them with a cloth. Why should I have to wipe brand new sneakers with a cloth? They refuse to give me my money back and advise that I resist them and they will ensure they’re approved by the next buyer. Why would I want to so this to someone else? Absolutely terrible to deal with, no resolution, I sent the shoes back to have them looked over by stock x quality control and jus5 received a shipping notification at MY EXPENSE they’re veing returned to ME yet again. I’m going to nike and social media as well as this is theft, false advertising and robbery
