When you move out, they will quote you a partial month rent. Then they will take the full month’s of rent out of your bank account instead of the quoted amount. The extra money they take out will be treated like additional security deposit, and they will use the extra money to renovate the apartment you move out of.
In other words, they will obtain funds from you under false pretenses and use the money they illegally obtained for private gains. This is financial and wire fraud. Be very, very weary when dealing with Landings Apartments and possibly all other apartment complexes managed by Hills Properties.
