Gucci — Very disappointed

Gucci does not warranty their products even though they say they offered a 2-year warranty! Very disappointed. I have purchased my Gucci Marmont backpack on June 3, 2018. Within 1 year of having this bag, I noticed that the sides of the backpack start caving in ( where the piping is). I didn’t think too much of it, but it was getting worse and worse. Not knowing Gucci had a warranty of 2 years, I had consulted another company that does handbag repairs and they told me that the piping of the bag has manufacturing defects. So I went to Gucci with my receipt and they told me they would submit a repair request. A couple of days later, they called and said this was not due to a manufacturing defect but rather it was due to improper storage. This is absolutely ridiculous as the piping that caved in is only one side. I have brought my back to another handbag repair shop and they said the same thing. It was a manufacturing defect of Piping. I cannot believe Gucci is trying to blame me for improper storage when they know it is actually a problem with the piping. I have all pictures of the bag and can provide them if needed. I am extremely disappointed in how Gucci is handling this and do not foresee myself purchasing from them in the future.
