My mom went to get an emissions test on 2/11/2021. She had a coupon so they charged her $35 for the test. Her car failed the emissions test, so they told her she had 30 days to get it retested for free. She went back on 2/27/2021 and they charged her another $45.73 to get it retested. They took advantage of her because she thought she was paying for the on-the-spot renewal. When I discovered the double charges on my credit card, I got all the paperwork from her. We went back to the shop together to get the second charge refunded. The person at the shop did not refund us and decided to keep the money. $45.73 is not a lot for a business, but it is for my mom. This shop did not provide any sort of resolution. I can’t believe they took advantage of my mom for being an older female.
