Fidelity Investments — Then hung up

I attempted to open a Fidelity Cash Management Account several years ago and was unable to do so because Fidelity could not verify my identity. This occurred even though I spoke with their Fraud Dept several times and sent in a large number of verifying documents including my NYSID, SSA card and numerous proofs of address. EVEN THOUGH, my past application was denied Fidelity still sent me checks and a debit card for the new account that was unusable. I recently moved and live around the block from a Fidelity location and thought it would be a good idea to try to open a new account. When I submitted the application, I was told that I already have an account AND that my User ID was locked for security reasons. I called over to Fidelity and was on hold for over 10 minutes and then hung up.
