TFL — Shortage of 142 buses

For over 2 months there has been a temporary bus stop in Bushey outside the Red Lion pub .. 9 times out of 10 the 142 bus drives right past the stop even if I am standing in the road with my hand out! I have been late for work on numerous occasions due to this. On my return journey home from work especially this evening at Stanmore Broadway I was waiting over an hour for a bus which terminated at Bushey Heath . When I asked the driver what is happening with the 142 buses he shrugged his shoulders and wouldn’t offer an explanation. It really is unacceptable that this service is so unreliable with no explanation available and does not bode well with my place of work. Even if I leave my home earlier which I have been doing the bus just doesn’t turn up . I am facing added expense by having to get taxis.. surely this is meant to be a public service is it not??? I want to know why the service is so unreliable. With an explanation as to why the 142 bus service is so completely unacceptable
