Bluehost — Nightmare from ****

I can’t believe there is a single legitimate positive review. I have had a half dozen sites down for more than 48 hours right now and that is after 3 unanswered tickets. I have had my sites down 9 times in the past 12 months……another time for multiple days. On the one recent ticket I got an answer to, the person plugged in some cookie-cutter reply that had nothing at all to do with my problem. For service, I would give Bluehost one star. If they make a claim of 99% uptime, I would say that they are being misleading. When you make your living depending on a website, and the host doesn’t seem to care about it being down, then it’s time to move on. (which is what I am doing after a dozen years) The server that many of my sites are on seemed to be infested with malware. The CS people have a bad habit of blaming things on the customer. (hmmm…I made the server go down and I allowed the malware on the server?) There was a time when Bluehost was great. The old CEO and founder really cared about customers. Today, I could not recommend them.
