Amazon — Not acceptable

Amazon promised a refund then rescinded. I purchased 7 outdoor & 1 indoor blink cameras along with an echo 5 from Amazon. Aprox 2 weeks later a pre Amazon prime flash sale happens reducing the prices of all of the items by 40%. I reach out to customer service to see if they would be willing to credit me the difference in price so I don’t have send back the items I just bought (within the 30 day window of my purchase) and buy the ones on sale. The representative told me that they normally don’t do that but since I didn’t know that she would approve the credit for this one time only. This credit came up to $280.87. I was told to wait 7-10 business days for the amount to be credited back to my account. I waited over two weeks & no refund so I follow up. A lead associate found my previous conversation and assured me that it would be processed and to wait 24-48 hours for an email confirmation. That never came so I called & got a rude lead telling me no credit will be issued. Not acceptable
