Zomato.com — Non Refund Of Money Of Cancelled Order

I had placed an order on 29/8/21 on 6:54 pm and paid via UPI and had cancelled my order thereafter. The amount was debited from my acc. Zomato claims that the amount was refunded by them at the same time. It’s been 14 days I have not received it back. I tried to contact them several times, all they do is ask me to contact my bank.

I have done that as well and the bank says they haven’t received any refund and I have faith in the bank as I have never faced any such issues with my bank before. I would request you to look into this matter and please return me my lost money. Zomato has the worst contact support ever. They do not have a helpline number.

They only have chat support and some of the chat executives are so mean and unprofessional. One such is Moksha. However the problem here isn’t that. The problem is my money which has not been refunded. Its been 14 days. Upi takes only a few secs to refund money and 14 days is a long time to wait for something like this. I tried to ask them to cancel the refund and re initiate they are not willing to.
