Virgin Mobile — Damage to brand new cell phone

Was at the Virgin Mobile Kiosk @ The intercity mall. Purchased a cell phone and had to up my plan. I chatting with the lady helping and l asked if it was difficult to mirror the old phone with the new—she said it was not and that she could do it for me. ( Let me mention just she offered to mirror the phones, l asked her to see the phone and she said that she was not allow to open the box.) So, she opened the box and proceeded to mirror the new phone with the old. After she finished she handed me the phone and I put it in my purse. Unfortunately, my purse is not large so the phone stuck out half way. I when down the hall and purchased some goods at another store. At this point l decided to put the phone in one of the bags l got shopping. When l pulled the box out of my purse the phone fell out of the box on the floor and cracked the screen. The women at Virgin did not reseal the box-why not? The box is a siding box that sides either left or right. the boxes design is poor in that it is too loose that it sides to easily—hence the phone falling out. I believe that the women would sold me the phone should have resealed the box or not opened it at all! I understand that mirroring the phone is not a serviced that is ordered. She took it on her own accord to mirror the phones– therefore she is responsible to resealing the box for safe travelling. Had she not opened it of resealed it which is only logical l would not be complaining. I purchase a tempered glass covered form virgin that cost me over $50—l would like this refunded as well!
