Ultimate Choice Restoration — Stay away from these clowns

This is about live electrical outlets hanging from the wall with children in the house. Sexual harassment. Damaging our vehicle. And much more. 1) 4/12/18 -5/1/18 an active light switch outlet was left hanging outside the wall. We were shocked twice by the outlet. We let workers know about this prior to contacting the owner of the company, but it was never fixed. We contacted the owner, Steve, on Saturday, May 5th because we felt scared that our 4-year-old son might touch it and get badly hurt. They didn’t come to address the issue until 2 days later, Monday, May 7th. The owner Steve sent a text stating that he has never seen or heard of anyone dying from a 110 outlet. I feel my son could have been badly hurt, and there was no sense of urgency to fix it. When they did address the issue they just put the plug back in the wall but left the light switch plate off. They also left several electric outlet receptacle wall plates off of LIVE outlets as well. It’s still like this. I tested with blow-drying and they are all active. What would happen if my son were to put his fingers in there? 2) On 5/17/18 a man with a white truck delivered our flooring. I noticed later that day that there was a huge gash in my back bumper that was not there the day or night prior. I texted the owner about this and he defended him. On Friday, May 18, a worker told us that the driver got fired because he hit our car. They lined up the tailgate of the truck with our SUV to see if the damage lined up, and it did. We still haven’t heard back from the owner of the company about what he is going to do to resolve this. 3) I was sexually harassed by their employee, Keith. Because he had access to a key to our, we were afraid he might come back. We asked the owner to change the locks, which he did. We are thinking about buying a home alarm, which is expensive, due to this sexual harassment situation. 4) On Friday 5/18/18 after the workers had left for the day, I saw there was a bucket under my kitchen sink and something leaking. I figured they would be back to fix it. The next day my whole kitchen was flooded. They had just installed brand new laminate flooring in my kitchen, which they won’t be replacing because they said it didn’t get damaged by this new flood they caused. I asked the owner why the bucket was left under the sink with the leak, he said that they installed the dishwasher and checked for leaks before they left for the day. This was a lie because the dishwasher was never installed back and is still sitting in our living room. 5) Some other little things: They had to redo the whole ceiling twice because it wasn’t done right the first time. They had to redo the canned lighting because they were crooked. They had to redo the electrical because it wasn’t working. They painted the wrong walls. They put our medicine cabinet in the wrong spot. They had to redo the tile on the wall because the spacing was off. Our stuff downstairs was full of dust because they never covered it or moved it out while working. We came into our home with our kids and all of our eyes were burning, tearing up, and coughing. The owner said we shouldn’t have had that reaction and that it was probably nothing poisonous. They installed new flooring in the front living room, even though this part didn’t get damaged. Something about padding the deal, but it was brand new flooring. On May 11th they had to fix another leak they caused while installing the bathtub upstairs as the plumbing wasn’t done properly. They had to redo the ceiling below the bathroom yet once again because of this. On top of all of this, this has been going on for almost 4 months now. I don’t think the original damage was a 4-month long job. We have been living in our master bedroom, with 2 adults, 1 child, and 1 infant. Between everything that has happened above and living in our bedroom, we just feel like we have had enough. We are tired of the owner sticking up for his employees every time we bring something to light to him. He should be sticking up for us, the customer. This whole situation is just ridiculous. We want them to finish the job right. We want the owner on-site every day to check his men’s work. We want our SUV fixed. We may need the laminate replaced by the flood they caused. We want our house and personal items cleaned. We want the items they broke while fixing our house replaced. We want to be compensated for the inconvenience, sexual harassment, and the unnecessary length of time this is taking.
