Purchased tickets from Ticketmaster for my son and his friend on Dec 16 for an Eric Church concert scheduled at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa January 15th. Received an email from Canadian Tire Centre saying the concert was cancelled and rescheduled to July 1. Email said if you are unable to attend the new date, I was able to request a refund from Ticketmaster for a 30 day period from Jan 4th. Jan 6th I requested a refund through Ticketmaster. Response was the event organizer is not offering refunds at this time. My friends also requested refunds and I later found out that they got refunds. (they have showed me proof of this) So I emailed Ticketmaster again asking for my refund and again got a message that the event organizer is not offering refunds. I sent Ticketmaster the email from Canadian Tire Centre saying that they are in fact offering refunds and sent the proof that my friends already got their refunds. This time (Jose) responded with after researching your event, I found the 30 day refund window expired and at this time the event organizer is no longer allowing refunds. I screen shot my original request for refund Jan 6th to them stating that I did request the refund within the 30 day time frame and continually get the message that they are not offering refunds!!! Jose sent the same message again saying it was after the 30 days. I asked if he even looked at my email stating I requested Jan 6th for refund and got no response. After 20 emails to them and continually getting the same automated responses, I tried to call. Their number does not answer and you can’t get a hold of a real person. I am eligible for a refund like everyone else and have asked within the 30 day time frame, but they won’t acknowledge this or give me the refund!! They don’t respond to direct proof or questions. They just give you the run around! I’m livid!! Tickets were $104.35 plus some other $17.28 fee. my order number is 18-19256QUE I’m angry AF!!!
