Subway — Can’t use coupons and sons sandwich

My 4 kids love the subway restaurants my wife and I received coupons in a flyer so we took our 2 youngest kids after my sons doctors appointment. We searched our phone to locate the nearest one and found one on front street. We drove to subway walked into the restaurant and as soon as you walk in there was a hand written sign that they do not accept coupons at this location. I was very disappointed to see that sign but we promised our kids and could not disappoint them so we had to pay full price for the subs.My 11 year old son loves to get the buffalo chicken sub but this time was the first time he was disappointed wasn’t up to par from the other subways we visited and he ended up not eating his sub and we wasted money on it. As for the coupons aren’t all subway’s required to take them or are they independently owned. On top of that the bathroom was out of order. Really, I could be wrong on this if so I apologize I know some places just put that up to deter customers from just walking in to just use the bathroom. Please accept the coupons that are distributed in the newspapers and in the home mail. Are all subs made the same way in all restaurants my son felt there was not enough buffalo sauce on it.
