Rixos Hotels — Recent Stay

Stayed at Rixos from 01-04 until 06-04 for mum’s birthday who is vegetarian. Upon check in, we notified staff that I was coeliac (cannot have gluten). Throughout out stay, there were no vegetarian options for food. Provided same mixed veg and chips every day which is not a main meal. Staff said can eat salad which is not a proper meal. For me, the only gluten free option was pizza and pasta. I could not have these every day and was very limited to choice. Also, I’d request to look into this as the pizza tasted really bad. The gluten free bread you have is like a rock and extremely hard. Not happy at all with this. On the last day, I was told I would have a special gluten free meal prepared for me at 7:30pm. This arrived 45 minutes later which also disrupted our evening plans. When this arrived, it was the same pasta and was cold! This was sent back and another meal came out 30 minutes later. The guest relations manager ordered me something from the a la carte menu which also came out cold. I have stayed at Rixos hotels before and never experienced anything like this. Left me very upset and disappointed. The bed headboard in our room looked damaged and also the small sofa had stains on it. We had to ask housekeeping twice to clean out rooms as they had not been cleaned. voucher or refund
