Racheal Phillips — Kentucky

Was married 7 yrs ago after only a month or so of meeting on a infamous dating site. A few weeks after us meeting she tells me she is in love. She was homeless(living with a man), had 3 kids, n fresh off a 3-1/2 yr abusive relationship. She also had another child at 17 which she lost in a custody battle. Apparently the abusive boyfriend decided it was a good idea to discipline her son on a visit and left some marks on the kids backside. He was a bipolar/schizophrenic drug addict who was in and out of jail. (Has 11kids & 7 diff. Baby mommas) I was 26 already had a 4yr old daughter and lived at home with my mom after recovering from a stroke. My decision was not based upon looks but the other qualities that stood out. Respectful, family oriented, loving(towards her kids), intelligent. First few years were rough since we barely knew each other and had to figure out likes and dislikes. She put one of her kids up for adoption, the youngest, after 2yrs of marriage. Her reason was because she had a major disconnect with the kid since birth. We had two kids together during first two years of marriage. So now our family consisted of 6. Most of our arguments during first 4yrs of marriage focused on religion, her kids, affection, her decision making skills and personality differences. After 4yrs we relocated as a family to KY due to financial struggles. She got diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2010 and due to a job promotion in another state, and our constant arguing over the same issues I decided to separate and moved out in 2011. This took place after her full recovery from cancer while she was unemployed. She always had substantial assistance from her Nanny and I knew with her being healthy now that she could work. She found a job at a call center a few months after I moved out and has been there ever since. One reasons we argued so much over her 2 kids she had from previous relationship was because they both shared major uncontrolled behavior problems. They both have ODD(Oppositional Defiance Disorder) & ADHD(Attention Deficit Disorder) Google the first one its no joke. She believed in a more lackadaisical approach and I believed in tough love. Some of their symptoms included: bouts of anger, temper tantrums, excessive lying, stealing, manipulation, and uncontrollable emotional outbursts. On top of ADHD.
