My child was slapped by a kid at school and caused her to hit her head against the wall extremely hard. My child then became dizzy, had a blur vision, extreme headache and pain when she chews on that side. My child arrived at the Pediatric ER at Prisma Health in Greenville SC and was told to wait 2 to 6 ours for a CT scan, because the ER did not have any available beds and the physician on duty had not checked her as of yet (2 hours in). I am currently serving on ACTIVE DUTY AND, if my child is found to have a traumatic brain injury or bleed, I will report this to my chain of command in the United States Army for further investigation. The representative in the Pediatric ER I spoke with did not have a care in the world and stated, we are full. When asked to speak to the Charge Nurse, she stated they would call me back at her earliest convenience. I will be satisfied after I report this to the highest chain of command and have the people involved in this matter on disciplinary action.
