The entire staff at Perfect World are rude, unprofessional, and dishonest. I joined Neverwinter, an “free to play” online D&D MMORPG. After spending over 70 hours working on one character, I decided to contact the game masters to have them restore my 21st level human mage character. Because my mage had my ranger’s name, I was first informed that they would have to force a name change on my current character. I said this would be fine. They then restored a 12th level elven ranger, and not the promised character. I contacted them again. Each time I have attempted to contact them, it takes 3-5 days for a response. Through many e-mails back and forth, I was told a different story each time. Finally, they informed me that they would have to access my account in order to process my request. I agreed, and then was informed that the missing character could not be restored after all. So, last night, after working through a very grueling work week, I logged onto Neverwinter, with hopes to go adventuring at least with my 60th level elven ranger, which I paid real money to acquire a wolf animal companion for. To my dismay, I discovered that ALL my characters had been removed. I immediately suspected that over the course of the past two weeks, someone at Perfect World took a dislike to all of the e-mails and forum posts about my displeasure as a customer. Thus, they took it upon themselves to rob me of what I had paid for. The last two forum posts, which only took them 1 hour to review, have been deleted but still my support tickets are yet unanswered. This is NOT the proper way to do business, and thus the reason of my current complaint. I would like to see this company be punished for its current business practices, to the fullest extent of what the law permits. No business should ever be allowed to treat people like this!
