PayTM Fastag — Vehicle Class Mismatch Deductions

On 11/9/2021 at around 11:50 am I received a text message from Paytm that my vehicle truck 2 axle has been updated to 3 axle and soon after that as I passed through a toll plaza the amount deducted was for 3 axle. I raised a complaint in the same matter but they didn’t respond. Then I called on their helpline no. and the executive raised another complaint. On the same day I passed through 3 toll plazas from jammu towards Srinagar and everytime extra amount was deducted from my wallet. Everytime I raised a complaint, they told me to upload the screenshot of deduction and RC copy of the vehicle. Which I did but almost after 20 hours there’s still no resolution to my complaints. The executive has given me a period of 20 days, kindly help me as I have to pass through toll plazas every day so in 20 days this will create a chaos for me. Paytm is not helping in any way. They are just involuntarily updating vehicle from lower to higher class without being told and any prior notice. This is a clear case of fraud. A vehicles registration can be changed from private to commercial or vice versa, but it can’t be changed from 2 axle to 3 axle or more.
