My dads’ cousin found me on a long walk home from school. I recently realized that he has been trying to get rid of me since his release from prison over 15 years ago. I recently let him go and have not heard anything from him since. He also does not allow me to chat with his other children, unless he needs something.) tried to get all of his children together for his birthday and was blown off. NO DAUGHTER SHOULD HAVE TO BEG HER FATHER TO BE HER FATHER! IT is clear that my standing in his life is nowhere near a priority. I should not have to talk to him about this constantly. He should have opened up just as much as I have. The pain he has caused me to endure is forever, so to all of you who think child support is everything, it is not! Go show your child that they are important to you, no matter what. It is never too late to change feelings.
