I stopped at this McDonalds drive through to get a quick dinner before an appointment. They were running a double line and things seemed to go smoothly until I got to the pickup window. I had noticed a problem with the car in front of me but they made it through quickly enough. When I got there, the attendant asked if I had the Big Mac and fries. I answered yes and he replied that they were working on it. I then looked at my slip and saw that I had been charged for the wrong order. The price was close, so I didn’t worry about it. The attendant then asked me to pull forward and they would bring my order out to me. I pulled forward and waited. And waited. And waited. I counted 9 cars going through the line while I waited. I paid for the order at 4:07 pm. I waited until 4:30 PM and realized I had to leave right away to get to my meeting, so I left without my order. Did they forget me? How could so many vehicles go through the line while I got nothing? My $9.91 is gone, but my anger will linger for quite a long time.
