This creature was working with my husband. She developed a “crush” on him and told her friends she wanted him. It is important to point out that she thinks highly of herself and feels she deserves whatever she wants. She has never had a long-term relationship and is considered a bit high-maintenance.

My husband is selfish and enjoys having his ego stroked. We were married for over 20 years and he felt he was entitled to something “newer and shinier”. De she met me, she met my children. She felt no guilt because a family is not as important as her desires.

So they were working late. They both had developed a flirtatious rapport by then. They were alone, she confessed her feelings for him, and there was no resistance. I saw her frequently during their affair. She would smile, engage in small talk but my husband would seem uncomfortable. He would complain to me about her, about her bitchiness and her dissatisfaction with other co-workers performance. And he would laugh when I told him I thought she was a *****.

They would text each other throughout the work day. They would text each other first thing every morning and the last thing every night. They were/are very immature. They laughed and enjoyed their sexual tension. He told her we were not having *** (a HUGE lie) and she was pleased. They thought nothing of lying to their co-workers and spend whatever days they could together. She demanded a commitment and my husband agreed. Except he lied.

The affair was discovered by me. He asked me to give him an opportunity to make it up to him. He thanked me for saving him. But she was not pleased with being turned down. She childishly tried to make it seem as if it were her idea to end it – her ego would tolerate little else.

One year later, I find an email from her, to my (almost ex) husband, asking for closure. Asking him to please give her a reason why he broke off their relationship. I responded (having said nothing to her for this past year) that she was undeserving of closure. And I did tell her to grow up. Her response was to tell me she had no regrets about breaking up my family. And she accused me of wanting my husbands wallet only. And she mocked my sadness, with her smugness of explaining how pathetic and hideous I was for “clinging” to a cheating husband. She signed her email “Kisses” . She called me “Honey”. She is extraordinarily self-involved.
