I was promised a settlement by the Johnson Law Group in the suit against Round UP due to the death of my wife. Probate was finished in August of 2022. My settlement numbers were given to me a year before that. I called repeatedly in August and September of 2022 asking for my check. they passed me off to the Archer Group who supposedly writes the checks. They said I was off their ledger and Johnson should send the check. Johnson called me in October 2022 telling me that CMS/ Medicare had changed athier calculation policy as of September 21. My probate lawyer contacted me on December 1 of 2022 and said they had the check and ledger figures, which showed all the figures that had been paid out prior to September 21. Johnson voided the check. I am being defrauded. Johnson got in excess of $600,000 for my late wife’s settlement. I have gotten nothing! they said CMS would have a ruling from the justice department by the end of the first quarter. Guess what they told me when I called? that has not happened. This is outlandish fraud!
