My account was hacked and taken over. they set up 2-factor verification even though my email and phone still part of my account but they added their own. So I can get a code via text but not a second code to unlock my account. I’ve tried to recover using facebook and the instagram platform by showing them my face as requested but the app crashes EVERY time through the process (my phone is very new!!) and there’s no way to get in touch with instagram to get my account unlocked and back to me. I’ve asked friends to report the hacking and still I hear nothing.
