I have a couple different cards with Green Dot Bank. Back in October I bought a car. My second payment was due in November. I I call ed the number on the back of the card to get my balance. It was $800.00 some dollars I went to pull money out to pay my car payment and was denied my funds. I went back ho.e and called them again. Green Dot said that they closed my account and would be sending me a refund check within 30 days. I was ****** but I waited the 30 days and was late on my car payment. I had to pay an extra 50 dollars for late fee. 30 days go by no check. Mean while the whole time I am having the post office watch out for this and they have assured me that it has not been sent or they would have got it. There was a balance of $ 764.00 in the account when they shut it down. I have called them and some to customer service they are rude they hang up on you or act as if they can not hear you. I cant tell you how many times I have been told that they are sorry they wish they could help me get the funds transferred to my other account but that was not possible and that they would have to issue another refund check but they have to validate if the check was cashed which takes two day and then if it hasnt been cashed then they will reissue another refund check. I went through this process several times four to be exact.. I am getting really frustrated I am a single mom who works really hard for my money and this has created a huge hardship for my family and myself. I have so many ticket numbers and waisted time I could have spent with my children. I have anxiety and this has caused my eye to start twitching. I just want this resolved and my money back.
