Green Dot Bank — Card not processing when swipped

I purchased a green dot card to preserve money for my mother in laws funeral accessories upon going to the first store it worked. 2days before the funeral me n my husband tried to use it at family dollar, and Walgreens didn’t work!!! we panicked, he had to pay for his mother’s flowers and obituaries online and we were unsuccessful. needless to say, we called green dot and told them the situation and begged them to do a transfer of funds to my permanent green dot card they said no, and they said we not getting a permanent card, every reasonable solution I suggested they refused, my husband is ready to take legal matters to the highest court because sadly he was not able to provide flowers of his mom favorite nor any obituaries at her funeral 2days ago he’s very very upset. my suggestion to them would be simply like the customers can transfer funds between each other, surely them as the source the company itself to just transfer his balance to my permanent card, that will stop us from going to the press or attain a lawsuit attorney. they should feel somewhat responsible for ruining my fiance’s mother’s funeral and for performing terrible and inconsiderate customer service skills.
