Been a long-standing gmailer since beta back in the early 2000s and have never had an issue. I was trying to be proactive and change my password ***** I was notified my account was compromised on the dark web. Changed my password, added secure protection with my hotmail account and BAM!!!!! Account locked in security hold **** now for absolutely no valid reason – provided my security answer, phone number, but still they locked my account. EVERYTHING is connected to my google account and now I have to wait until they authenticate my request???!! I thought that’s what the security question and phone number was for?! Screw these guys!! And no live body to talk to… Pretty shady for a company shoving their brand down your throat. It will be painful, but I will rebuild and steer clear of Google.
