Extended Stay America — Staff entering room bed bugs

November 11-14 resided at hotel room 316. Initially I was suppose to be in another room. For whatever reason I was offered this one upon arrival. On November 12th a staff member tried go come in my room 2am claiming go be looking for clothes of a previous guest. even though we had already been in the room 24hrs. Got back home to Colorado to be diagnosed with bed bug bites. All up and down my arms and on my face. Had to be prescribe a steroid ointment for the inflammation. Bed bug bites don’t show up immediately so I contacted the hotel before I was diagnosed and after only to be brushed off. I was told by the office manager that an investigation would take place and I would receive a call. When I didn’t hear from anyone after almost 2 weeks I called back to find out by a front desk staff member that an investigation did take place however I never received a call. Once again I asked to have the manager call me that was 2 weeks ago. So it has now been a month and I never heard anything from management to this day. My calls are going un-returned. As a guest you expect to stay in a safe and sanitary place and definitely not have your room attempted to be entered during your stay with staff cursing and talking on their phone as they ate trying to open your door at 2 o clock in the morning with no apologies what so ever.
