I have a booked a flight ticket for 3 person through booking.com from Calgary to Vancouver travel day was 6th October booking ation TQW4E . 20 hours prior to my travel booking.com app send me a notification saying that my flight is canceled. I immediately called booking.com customer service and the agent told me that my flight is canceled and I have to contact the flight company to get my refund. Unfortunately their call center was closed and i couldn’t call them. Mean while I booked another ticket for my travel as advised by the booking.com agent. Next day I called the flight company and i explained the situation and they said they just changed the flight timing for half an hour or so but never canceled the flight hence they don’t provide any refund. It is clear a communication error from Booking.com and I have called them several times to get my refund one agent told me that she is sending my refund request to the manager and her manager will be in touch with me. After a week I didn’t hear from anyone from booking .com and I decided to call again today and the first agent transferred me to a cancellation and billing department and the agent checked everything and ed again that this flight was canceled.In order to get my refund he asked to call the flight company again and asked them to cancel the Active segment from their end and release the refund to booking.com so that booking.com can refund my money. I am a business man and normally use booking.com for hotel bookings and travel. I am looking for a refund for my booking that’s all.
