Big Easy — Bad food but possibly the worst service I’ve ever experienced

Food was pretty bad, (soggy burger), but the service was worse. The ladies serving were not at all impolite, but they clearly had no training, hadn’t got a clue what was on the menu, had 0 confidence. The manager kept having to show them how to do the most basic things. I felt really bad for them as this seemed to be their first job and they were just getting trained while trying to wait too many tables. Half the stuff we ordered didn’t turn up (water, drinks) so we were pretty dehydrated. They forgot the cutlery for the lobster, so my partner was unable to eat his food. Some of the appropriate cutlery came after 20 mins but then they informed us they had ran out of lobster crackers. At a lobster place? This deprived my partner of a substantial amount of his meal. My burger was soggy and bland. I asked for ketchup to try and make it edible but the waiter brought vinegar? He was gone so quickly And I’d already waited a long time to get attention from him. I resent that we paid the full £90 bill for a terrible lunch. We felt so bad for the girls serving so we paid the service charge but the place was so shambolic, we just wanted to get away. Partial refund for food, or a voucher so we can try again preferably when the staff had been through some training. It’s not fair to put them in that position; it’s highly unprofessional. I would be happy to send the receiptproof of purchase. We would have complained at the time but the service was nothing short of shambolic. It was an anniversary and my partner wanted lobster.
