I ordered two metal buildings July 30th. Delivery time was not quoted as end of Oct., at that time or I would never have ordered from them. Deposit was paid of $2394.60. About a week later, I received a call from Carolina Carports (DBA for Alan’s Factory Outlet) asking me to send photos of my cement pads for buildings. After several attempts to contact them via email and telephone, we were finally told buildings *may arrive* around Oct. 29th. This delivery time if totally unacceptable, as we have decided to list the property for sale. We phoned to cancel the order and were told by Christy in Customer Service they would have to keep our entire deposit. Since nothing has been done since we placed the order, this seems totally unreasonable! This message was left on voice mail 1 minute prior to their closing time. I immediately hit redial to call back and the phones were rolled over to a recording. We have made several attempts to email and phone and have not been able to get a resolution. We would have NEVER placed this order had we known the lead time was several months.
