I had service with Ackerman not with ADT. My service with ADT was paid in full. I canceled my service and did not sign another agreement with ADT. I was receiving calls and mail from ADT for cancellation charges! Now they have turned this account over to collections and I am being bothered. ADT is trying to get around $200 for a cancellation! I did not have service with ADT , I had service with Ackerman! I will never choose to or recommend ADT. Several people in my neighborhood are having issues with ADT! This goes to show ADT has less than stellar business practices! Leave me alone and eliminate the cancellation fee.
